changing black leather door trim to wood

Hi all I've recently hada lift in a colleagues RRS which had wooden trim on the doors instead of the nastly silver plasticy trim I have.
Is there any particular difficult in fitting the wooden door trims if I can get hold of a nice set?

I've got the cherry hockey sticks sitting waiting but would be interested in the door inserts and the dashvent bits if you've got them spare.....

p.s. why did you go wood to leather?

Sorry mate the only thing I have left is the cherry wood hockey sticks.
I have cream interior and initially had cherry wood door inserts which I did not like.
Hence went for black leather inserts, which again makes the car interior look different... Thumbs Up

It is straight forward to go from leather to wood. The other way drilling is required Whistle
I got someone experienced to do it for me Thumbs Up

Hi..have just registered on this site having bought a Supercharged RRS last week. Love it but am also worried it will be nothing but trouble!

I too would like to swap the leather insert in the door card for wood (and the rhodium hockey sticks on the centre console).

In this post, you say going from leather to wood is straightforward but I read on another post that it is very difficult as the door cards are totally different as there is no fixing screw/device for the wood on an all leather door card.

Which is true???!

URX, i'm interested in your "nasty silver plasticy trim" door inserts.

I've got now the standard wood on the doors and hockeysticks.....not very sporty IMHO.

Want to change to all silver/metal look.

Anyone can help me to those parts?

SW
