United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Which alloys - 20inch Stormer or 20inch V Spoke

Hi

I've been presented with the option of purchasing a Range Rover Sport with 20inch Stormer alloys. These alloys aren't my preferred choice. From looking over this site, the alloys that i've like the look of are the 20inch V Spokes and seem to be more common on most RRSports for sale.

Are the 20inch stormer alloys newer than the V Spoke alloys? Which are more desirable?

I was told the 20inch stormers were predominently fitted to the supercharged petrols but the one I'm looking at is a Diesel HSE.

Thanks

The Stormer is an OEM wheel, but was only ever fitted on the 1st Edition SCs back in 2005.

This is it:

The v-spokes you're looking at were the "standard" SC 20in wheel but you'll see them on many more diesels now too as they became an option a couple of model years ago.

The Stormers look good, but also consider what you can get from Overfinch:

Vee spokes or Stormers, they will be the cheaper option to replace/ repair once you have got kerb rash on them......... kerb the others and your heart will ache and your wallet will be severely depleted!
20" and bigger RRS wheels of any make seem to have kerb magnets built in them, they just seem to be attracted to concrete and granite at the edge of the pavement! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Cheers for the feedback. Bit of history around the alloys always helps.

I still prefer the 20inch Vee Spokes over the Stormers although the Overfinch alloys are pretty sexy!
