Does anybody have info on the future engine in our LRs ?
The other day I glimpsed at a Reuters news saying that Tata was talking with daimler on engines...

Will we see an AMG in the RRS v2 ?

All the info we have at the Mo is sketchy

Wasn't there talk of AMG engines going into AM's in the future?

I suppose there is no reason to assume there are any reasons why they wouldn't appear in LR's.

I found the news story dated dec the 7th :

FRANKFURT, Dec 7 (Reuters) - Ratan Tata, chairman of Tata Motors (TAMO.BO), which is part of the Tata Group, is mulling closer cooperation with German premium carmaker Daimler (DAIGn.DE), German magazine Focus reported, citing no sources.

The report said Tata was looking for a new engine supplier for its Jaguar and Land Rover units, which it bought from Ford (F.N) for $2.3 billion earlier this year.

The magazine report added that Tata had met Daimler managers in India and South Africa over the past weeks, discussing a possible cooperation.

Daimler confirmed that a meeting between Tata and Mercedes Chief Operating Officer Rainer Schmueckle had taken place, but declined to give further details, Focus said.

Daimler was not immediately available for comment.
