United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black
under bonnet paint

hi all

first post for a while,

after checking the oil on my tdv6 today i noticed that the paint quality underneath the bonnet is more matt than shiny, how are al your RR sports finished uner the bonnet.

I ask this as i am going to take the RRS back to the dealer as i dont think that the paint should be like that Discovery TD5 commercial (gone)

Same here, not only confined to LR products though. All three new mercs, a saab and an alfa I had also had the low cost option of not covering completely in the "hidden" areas. I must admit that the LR is probably the worst of them.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

Land Rover don't "top coat & lacquer" the engine compartment on their vehicles. The paint you can see is just base coat. Most, if not all vehicle manufacturers are the same. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
