Newbie.

Just thought I would say "hello".
I've been a member on here for a few weeks now and I've enjoyed reading all your loves and hates for these fantastic vehicles.

Unfortunately I've got to wait until September next year (when my A6 Avant) goes back before I can try and get my hands on a RRS. I was hoping for a RRS before I had the A6 but the company car tax was just horrendus. I'm one of three partners in a business and all three have to have the same, well atleast draw the same and the other two were just not as enthused as I am witH the RRS.
With this in mind I'm looking to opt out of the company car scene and taking the plunge back into running my own everyday vehicle again and theres only one vehicle i'm really interested in, RRS.
I'm toying with the idea of either buying a TV6 HSE and using it everyday or Buying a S/C and keeping it as my Sunday car and buying a cheap run around for my everyday driving. (Pockets not deep enough to run a S/C all the time).
It would have to be my other Sunday car as I am in the process of finishing off rebuilding an old black Saab 900 Carlsson thats supposed to be my Sunday car. I will have to try and get some more Sundays in the week.

Congratulations on such a wonderful and informative website, reading through some of the posts still hasn't put me off wanting one.

Dave.

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

Davlyn, welcome.

I have a S/C and am more than happy with it, fortunatly for me my pockets don't have to run so deep as Petrol is 40p a litre were i am and i can fill up for about £30, unfortunatly for me i just got some Pirelli's Snow and Ice and they set me back £300 each, so they steal from me one way or the other, good luck with the Saab, but i know which vehicle i would be spending my Sunday in and it doesn't begin with S.
Other people can inform you about the TD's as i've never driven one, being an enviromentalist as i am Mr. Green Supercharged 2006 gone
Supercharged Overfinch 2010 on the drive:)

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

Davlyn welcome, If you have a choice i would recommend the TDv8. if you are toying between the TDv6 for fuel economy/day to day practicality, but like the idea of the SC for performance, the TDv8 is a good compromise.. although i would never classify getting a TDv8 as a compromise ...
