Wheel choice

What is the preferred choice of wheels on the rrs 20s or 22s.I think 22s look better but what is the ride like.

It's all a matter of personal choice really.... a lot of RRSs come out of the factory now with 20s, but a lot of people like the fact that 22s fill out the arches much better. Some have reported considerably worse rides on 20s, let alone 22s, but others are running on 22s without any real impact.

Don't forget though, the larger the wheel the more prone to damage it will be should you be venturing off the black stuff Very Happy

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

If the RRS doesn't have DR fitted the ride is supposed to be ruined, even on 20's. I know at least 2 owners who have returned to 19's having run on 20's on non DR equipped cars 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Java Black

Hi, Sorry for the stupid question, what does DR stand for?

I have fitted 20" Stormers to my 2007 TDV6 and the ride isnt good, there is a virabration at around 70 mph. Tempted to put the 19" back on but perfer the look of teh 20"

DR is basically the dynamic pack which on earlier models was only fitted to the S/C and those spec'd from the factory with 20" wheels (IIRC!)

Our RRS is a 2006 TDV6 HSE without DP/DR fitted and rise was noticably firmer on 20's but have got used to it now Thumbs Up Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad
