2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Zambezi Silver
Hi Guys, New boy!! HELP

Well done it, gone from P38 Range Rover (well still got it at moment!!) Anyone want a brill condition 51 plate Vogue on recent LPG conversion.. Brill car just fancied new RRS S/C..

Thanks to all you really clever guys out there Vs Sat Nav, the 1791 code works great, my disc ends in "12". Have you brill guys decided if I change my disc to latest version whatever number that may be, I can either get Nav on move officially or use code?

Has anyone tried this G-net reversing camera? does it work, basically can I get a camera to kick in when selecting rerverse? Whats easiest way?

Well sorry to ramble but I can say I'm impressed with level of knowledge out there.. Thanks all, straight talk help in English, Pitty LR Dealers cant be as good!!!! Big Cry
Cheers
Clive Sporty & enjoying life..

Yep..

Already booked in, buying LPG for .46p, driven one, cant tell difference, still goes. They will even do conversion on chipped version of nearly 600hp!! not bothering with that though... This'll be my third one, I like it.. Makes stickin it to powers that be more fun!!

United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Java Black

I did a lot of research on the GNET, you do have to buy the module for the vid on the nav, and then the back up cam will work on reverse. I'm thinking of mounting LCD's in my sun visors and wiring a reverse cam to those instead. I don't like the idea of spending $700 plus just for a reverse cam and video on my little arse nav screen...

Triathlonman, are you buying RRS new? I am assuming you know LR's stance on LPG conversions? It 100%, no messing invalidates your warranty - EVEN IF NOT LPG RELATED.

Check out RRUK's post on LPG conversion. Even if you (As it sounds) are clued up on conversions, still worth a read Thumbs Up

Welcome to the forum Triathlonman... but I am concerned about the fact you might want to cycle from one of the country to the other. Next time, you can do it in your converted SC! Much easier... and much less friendly to the environment too, so everyone's happy! Laughing Thumbs Up

Thanks for welcome all..

Been away for few days, back..
Yes, people are right LR do not validate warrenty, that part is somewhat of a risk but I have an independant LR specialist man Karl Fischer Auto's who works well with them. Stafford LR will honour warrenty on non engine related issues. So it's a risk but who buys SC'd and is sensible, never mind cycling end to end!!

Cost £2.6k, with 2 year warranty, and software updates. 98 ltr gross tank, usually fills 82ltr, range 270 miles, currently cost £40 to fill ie 14.8p per mile.

The one I drove ran same as mine. Looking fwd to cheaper fun, hate being told what I can do by our glorious government!!

Ps register with DVLA as alternative fuel keeps tax disc to level of current £210 rate. Also free travel in London so i'm told!!

Would like to thank all for help, very knowledgeable guys..

Cheers Sporty & enjoying life..
