Kilts to Cape town - Land Rover Defender

Ok, so its not an RRS, but a pretty amusing read none the less

2 friends from my uni days have taken a landrover defender from Scotland, aiming to get to Cape town> Currently in Kenya, or about to leave I think, but its a pretty fun read, and good to see the car is faring well in the terrain!
Just thought i would share if anyone was interested

Yep, they left from central Edinburgh and I meant to go and see them off but couldn't find exactly where they were departing from Thud "CY from DISCO3"

Met them in clapham briefly - they turned up 2 hours late for there leaving drinks..!
