Nick.....Bentley GT crossed my mind as it could be a "1" car as in it doesn't need to be a second car.....but I love the RRS for daily driving, I wont lose any money on the Audi so it was a smart buy regardless, had some fun for free.

As for my next purchase I know what you mean....not sure if i'm brave enough for a Lambo, I am lucky enough to have a garage though as you can get a house with a garage oop north for circa 60 pence Mr. Green

Mr. Green x 100 I long to have a jet wash to clean my own cars - think i would do it every day. I have a 3 car garage on my house in LA, but Mrs Nick tells me off for washing my car myself and doing the locals out of a job!!

I'm going for a 2nd hand GT, tempest silver, and trading RRS sometime after the summer for a CLS for Mrs Nick and buy a Smart for the daily commute to my office. The Smarts have only just started hitting the streets in the US...and just as Foxtons jumped on the mini bandwagon, everyone is reaching out for Smarts to custom up....

Still glad I chose the Maser GT over an R8 - found the seats in the R8 too narrow....

Good luck with your next choice. Shame we couldn't run a AM V8 Vantage and not lose money - the market has kinda dropped on 2nd hand ones now. Although Stratstones offered me one on a lease, with 25K in and only £599 a month....not a bad deal.

I agree with ST Lambo Bow down Bow down

now I get bored of cars pretty quick, but getting bored of an R8 after only a few weeks does confuse me somewhat

Bow down

I still think my idea of us all clubbing £50 each into premium bonds and we set up a car fund - if the money comes in, we buy some cars and set up a club......if we buy £1000 quids worth of bonds and just see what happens.....I'm in, gimme another one in and we'll get started,,,,

Jay - Wil, where's your £50........lets get the first 5.0 RRS.......

You'll need to join the queue Nick - have you paid your deposit to James for a build slot yet Whistle Whistle because if you don't get in there now you will have to wait a fair bit for one mate - there's already a longer waiting list for the 5.0ltr than there is for the LRX 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Houses with garages - beyond my budget in London.....and I'm thinking of moving and yet to another house without a drive or a garage....

3 bed cottages in parts of the burbs can cost £800K, without drives or garages.......hence my need to get rid of the Maser...if only I had an arfer daily lock up!

So tell me, what were the joyc's of living in London again??

Absolutely... get the Censored out of Dodge. I moved out of London in 2002 and the best thing I've ever done, can't be doing with the place.

Personally as well as my domestic arrangements, every small bit of money I lose, worries me, and having that kind of cash tied up in a car - could be better used elsewhere. Ok, the casino in Vegas is tempting (and yes I'm being serious) but sticking it in the bank...for now!
