22" Tyre inflation pressure

After speaking to Toyo Australia they have refered to reference material from the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation (ETRTO) regarding the correct cold tyre inflation pressure.

They suggest that cold inflation for a 285/35/22 to be between 35 to 40psi unloaded and 42-45 if the vehicle is under load.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

ISTR there was a post recently about this.

I'm sure when questioned , Overfinch quoted 4psi more than the LR 20" pressures and yes , due to weight balance you will need more in the rears but the standard pressures take that into account.

Still looking for my 22's ..........

I queried him about that and his reply was 2psi difference is nothing for inflation so I guess they are allowing for environmental/road differences.

Also, are tyre pressure gauges accurate to within 2psi? A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

TDv8 HSE - Stornoway Grey with ebony and straight grain walnut wood-a-like interior with towpack, Tasmods. The best car I have ever owned
Now departed - Giverny Green TDv6SE with Aspen and Parchment interior - nearly the best car I have ever owned
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road
