Should I or shoudn't I?

Am thinking about buying RRS TDV8. Noticed a few probs do crop up but no more than my current 05 Disco 3.However wind noise, noisy front suspension (just like my Disco, haven't they fixed that yet?) and tdv8 starter motor probs seem to be happening. Seen a couple of posts where people are well annoyed with many probs! Also my dealer tells me that the spare tyre is an 18" wheel with the same rolling diameter tyre as a 19". I was told that 18" wheels won't fit because of Brembo brakes. Surely all tyres and wheels whether 17",18',19" or 20" have the same rolling diameter tyre. Why don't they fit a 19" spare. A bit of feedback would be good.

Front wind noise is being dealt with by the installation of sound proof glass on MY09 cars, front suspension noise is from the dynamic response - which the D3 doesn't have, people can't be complaining about the same noise. Sapre wheel is 19".

Front suspension noise I am talking about is knocking and banging noise especially offroad. Don't know bout Dynamic Response noise, will find out when I have proper testdrive on Tuesday. Also will be able to gauge wind noise at our restrictive speed limit (100K) here. Hope you are right and spare is 19".

I've had this problem you describe which is not DR noise.....................after several visits to the dealer I have had all the anti roll bar bushes replaced and a lower FNS ball joint replaced......all of which were allowing excessive movement which caused the knocking/clanking noise.

With the end result being that my car is now silent Exclamation Thumbs Up
