purchasing TDV6 HSE opinions? pics attached

Hello all, newbie here!! have just sold my 06 rs4 and am currently looking to buy an 06 or 07 plate rr sport, cant decide between one with a hst kit or standard with 22", the 2 cars i cant decide between are below, any opinions welcome, i would change the hst grill to a black supercharger grill both are similar in price. would the hst kit version be harder to sell when decide to sell?

Welcome to the forums Tyke
There's plenty of demand for HST cars, but don't expect to get a lot more for it at selling on time as HST kit isn't to everybodies taste. So the choice is yours - if the prices are nearly the same I would go for the HST as the kit costs something like £4500. Two things to check though - has either car ever been chipped and are the wheels genuine Overfinch because while they are lovely wheels there have been strength issues with unbranded alloys - this car weighs in at 2.5 tonnes and you need to ensure that the wheels are up to the job and LR don't sell them with 22" wheels yet. Biggest standard wheel is 20"

Is the top one Buckingham Blue or Java Black?

Nice cars though. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

TDv8 HSE - Stornoway Grey with ebony and straight grain walnut wood-a-like interior with towpack, Tasmods. The best car I have ever owned
Now departed - Giverny Green TDv6SE with Aspen and Parchment interior - nearly the best car I have ever owned
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road

hello tim, thanks for the reply , checked with the dealer and they are the german replica wheels, but all loads etc are ok
neither have been chipped according to both dealers but i would probably have that done anyway
both are java black, edging towards the hst kit version but just holding out for a better deal

I would go with the standard one myself, it has the side steps and the 22s (even if they are replicas). Get the grille and vents swapped to the SC versions and bingo, you have the perfect RRS Thumbs Up

Think you need to go onto Pistonheads and do a search on Amari, that might change your mind on that car.
