In Car DVD Options (Portable)

Gents,

What is the latest on the portable head rest fitted units.
A quick search of the forums turned up nextbase as a contender. Still good stuff?

I'm looking for something as elegant as possible, maybe this :-

Also, has anyone tried to fit the brackets that go onto the arms of the headrest, ie. no straps. I wonder if they would fit....

but what is the point of fitting it in front of your headrest?

Site says this :-

This clever innovation allows your 'Nextbase DVD Player' to be mounted in front of your headrest!

By attaching it to your headrest it fits in a similar way to the popular Central Mounting arm, giving you a more rigid mounting system than headrest straps

Thanks in advance

You reckon? I was only going for one screen at around £100, but if £600 is viable for a reasonable system, i'd do it. 2022 P440e AB

Manchester car audio will fit 2 x 6.5" screens in headrests and fit a dvd player, inc 2 x wireless headphones for £600
If they will do it I'm sure there will be somewere north of the border that will.

I picked up a Twin set from from Netto's for £99 Embarassed

Made by "Denver" quality ok but only one has the DVD player and the others a monitor only which works well as my 2yr old son can watch the monitor and the wife has the one that hold the dvd and can swap and change them over when needed from the front seat.

also good for Movies Whistle when the lads go off on trips too Thumbs Up

Likewise we have a pair of cheapo portable DVDs from Argos - they work perfectly well... OK, there's cables about the place but it's cheaper than having a permanent fit done and you can take them with you too! Thumbs Up
