20" Continental Sport Contact 4x4

Seems supply is tight at the moment. It's taken a week for me to get one.

A couple of tyre dealers I called said "we just can't get them".

Weird..... 2022 P440e AB

I take it you've tried the national suppliers, blackcircles.com etc too? Funny how tyres can go in and out of circulation Confused

Black Circles have none either. V weird.

I just had the only tyre in my RRS that I hadn't already replaced loose pressure. I went to the tyre place and they took it off to find that it had been run flat. I.E. The tyre had been run at zero pressure and was carved up internally....

I'm bloody annoyed but there you go. 2022 P440e AB

Just had a call from Kwik-Fit.

Conti's are in tight supply but they've got me 4 coming in this pm. Given that they were only ordered yesterday pm I think that is pretty good. Well done Kwik-Fit Exclamation Thumbs Up

But I'm glad it's on a maintenance contract which cover tyres as I've also booked it in for a service in a weeks time. Otherwise it could have been a very expensive car bill month. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Lets hope my rattling suspension gets fixed today. I handed the Dealer the latest TSB so fingers crossed. TDV6 - gone

What are you paying? Kwik Fit had one in their computer for £275. National had the same price.
Got them down to £225 at one place and £235 at another.

That was for one tyre from each vendor.
Should be cheaper for 4. 2022 P440e AB

Don't know what I'm paying, cos I'm not. I won't see the bill.

But I immagine if I was paying it would be around the £250-270 mark. But I suspect Kwik-Fit will charge the contract people a whole lot less for the privelege of having the contract. So more like £150 or less Wink TDV6 - gone

Bill was £1300 alledgedly. Well it would have been if I was paying. So prob a few hundred less on the invoice to whom ever was paying Whistle

I heard they weren't happy at the mileage done. Serves them right for offering me a contract Whistle TDV6 - gone
