well this just confirmed my thoughts - as much as I hear fabulous things being written about the TDV8 - and really, it;s incredible - I just know I would be really really pissed if something like the knocking sound was apparent. My wife knows me better than most, and she knows I would as hard as I could to make the point to any car firm (I didn't tell any of you this, but my last BMW 650 Convertible, BMW sold to me new for £20K due to the problems I had with my previous one) and would do whatever it took. And thats why last Monday, Charles Hurst made me an incredible offer on a new car (thanks James) but I couldn't do it. I'm happy with my TDV6, it has no knocking, does have the adaptive drive thing, and works fine. Ok turbo lag, but if you rev it high enough, and I do drive it in sport mode most of the time - and it all works for me... 2007 RRS TDV6 HSE JAVA/EBONY SIDE STEPS, REAR GUARDS. 22'' STORMER WHEELS. FULL COLOUR CODE. SMOKED SIDE LIGHTS |

I feel I must let you know one of Land Rovers comments in the letter sent to me from the customer relations department regarding the suspension noise, I have used the same spelling as in the letter - "we are happy your vehicle is standard to the marquee" !!!!.

Cant see why they do this , do they not want repeat business ? To be honest i cant stand most of my customers but if i had that attitude i wouldn't be in business period ! |

As I've said before - if this is normal on the car they should list it on the sales broucher somewhere between heated seats and rear wash wipe. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.
