Goes to show a) what a great allround car the RRS is and b) LR have worked wonders to work their way into the usual "I only drive BMWs" mentality of BMW drivers. I have to say, the RRS is the only non-BMW I've owned for about 10 years.

I agree S, apart from my first car my whole car history consists of BMW's, When changing at first my only thoughts were what colour my new BMW should be! The RRS is the only thing to convert me. Thumbs Up

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Nick it isn't a pop at you - BMW owners in general are extremely faithful to the brand. I've never owned one and really have never wanted to. Apart from a TVR, a Volvo and an Audi the other cars I have owned have been either Land Rovers (the TDV8 is my 7th consecutive LR in 14 years), Rovers or Fords. None of the cars I have owned has been unreliable except the Volvo which never in 6 trips to the south, got passed Hilton Park Services on the M6, it always ended up with wet electronics going into the Morecombe dealership on the back of a flatbed truck while I finished my trip by train, it just couldn't cope with driving rain and spray on the M6! All that was because of a 10p grommet that used to wear out, but at least the Volvo lifetime warranty covered all the extra costs and my other travel expenses! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I could be back in a RRS when the next time around comes to change. The recently mentioned upgrades to the interior/materials/upgrades etc etc make it look very tempting again. Obviously in TDV8 guise. ... although I hear the TDV6 will become a 3.0 litre Confused Hhmmm .... lets wait and see... nothing like sitting on the fence Wink

Although I do have a collection of vintage 50/60's corgis & dinkys worth around £10k - but they go up in value unlike the real things Wink
