Just a thought

...

Why don't unite all 4 websites (rrsport, disco3, ff rr and def) in one big landroverclub.co.uk or smth?

It would probably be more difficult to manage, more difficult for users to find what they wanted, dilute the discussion and generally not be a positive move. In addition, as we're not officially affiliated with LR, Martin isn't permitted to use Land Rover or any of the model names in his domain naming etc.

Er, what's an "smth"?

There would be other problems as domain names like Land Rover UK forums, LandRoverNet, LandRoversRUs and Land Rovers in Action are already taken by 2 other forums already.

Must say, that for stuff about the most modern Land Rovers, Martin's 4 forums are the best. The LRUK Forums in particular are very snotty about any Land Rover that isn't out of warranty, which is one reason why I rarely go there these days. They are one of the best resources for techy help for older Landies though having a huge searchable database of old posts in their technical section and many experienced owners A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Tata TDv8 HSE - Stornoway/ebony and straight grain walnut with towpack, Tasmods and an HST grille. Coming soon LEDs in the headlights
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road

As for domain name: i.e. LRclub.co.uk is free 2008 Range Rover Supercharged Vogue S\E, Java Black, Ebony. 22" Overfinch Tiger alloys.

All too complicated if you ask me.... I think one of the reasons why Martin's forums are so popular is the simple interface (to go with the simple membership Whistle )

Actually I have created this thread because of low activity on the ffrr forum.
I was going to talk about tuning of FFRR and found nobody there Smile
I think I'll ask my questions here then Laughing

btw, FFRR is great. Driving it for a couple of months - i'm impressed as it made a good progress since 2005 model year. Gave my rrs to my wife Smile Now she's happy with scaring people around with it's free-flow exhaust Laughing 2008 Range Rover Supercharged Vogue S\E, Java Black, Ebony. 22" Overfinch Tiger alloys.
