Defender SVX will be made available in 90 Soft Top and 90 Station Wagon versions. 140 units of the Soft Top and 60 units of the Station Wagon will be produced for the UK.

"Distinctive exterior features have a contrasting silver finish, such as the unique 'Defender' and 'SVX' badges, tubular side-steps, and the bold surround for the front grille and new, clear-lens headlamps. All vehicles will also feature new, ‘diamond turned’ five-spoke alloy wheels, a reinforced aluminium front under shield and clear LED rear lights.

To bring the SVX interiors right up to date, they are equipped with custom-designed Recaro front seats, distinctive alloy gear knobs, a new audio system (with subwoofer and USB socket), iPod cradle and Garmin satellite navigation.

The soft-top models are especially eye-catching, with a metallic silver tubular cage that supports a tailor-made, removable black fabric hood. This encloses a flat load-space and a spare wheel stowed behind the front seats, reminiscent of the very first open-top Land Rovers."

The On the Road prices will be as follows:

Defender SVX 90 Soft Top £32,495
Defender SVX 90 Station Wagon £30,495

Although the increase in road tax on 20th of this month wasn't included in this figure so add another £100!

I am led to believe that they are all now spoken for, but if anyone wants to go on a short-list then let me know.

James Thumbs Up

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

£32k is only the starter if all the production run for the UK is spoken for - there will be plenty of people out there prepared to pay more for a used one. 50th Anniversary V8's are still in big demand and hold their prices very well, wonder how long before LR make a Puma engined Defender with auto transmission.................. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
