Just bought a 2006 HSE!

All,

I have just pulled the trigger on a Java, 2006 (55) TDV6 HSE. Where can I find the standard specs and list of options for this car?

Many thanks. Smile

Hi,

Finding a comprehensive list of the standard specs etc isn't so straight forward as LR aren't the best at publishing accurately Rolling Eyes

Your better off asking us directly about options

Just for starters

Std:
Premium Sat Nav
PDC (Park Distance Control)
Bi-Xenons
Heated Seats (Front and Rear)
Electric Leather Memory Seats
Harman Kardon ICE

Options:
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
Dynamic Response *
Brembo Front Brakes *
DVD in Rear
Adaptive Cruise Control
Privacy Glass
Bi-Xenon Adaptive
Harman Kardon Logic 7 ICE
Tow Bar
Sunroof
Centre Arm Cooler Box *
PTI (Bluetooth Phone Prep) *
Active Diff

* these options became std on the HSE 07MY (after Oct 06 build)

Hope that helps

Kaine

Diablo, I assume you have tried www.landrover.co.uk The spec's on there are current (or as current as Land Rover usually manage to get their website - which isn't very) and as kaine has pointed out, there were a few recent changes. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini
Disco 4 TDv6 HSE Ipanema
Defender 90, 200tdi CSW

I was about to suggest the LR Singapore site which someone mentioned recently still only held the MY06 specs, but I've just tried and get a "this site is being upgraded" message....

As Kaine says, it might be easier to ask specific questions if you have something in mind.

Gents,

Thanks so much. If look at the Parker's vehicle reviews, it is has a very useful spec list that shows chnges to standard spec as they happened.

What prompted it is that I have just bought a car that was advertised as having a 'phone kit' which I assumed to be PTI, but it has nothing at all. The dealer is trying to remedy the situation by offering a free Parrot installation...I am not too happy about that...

PTI was only standard on the SC model for MY06 but most HSEs did have it specified as an option. Is the dealer who's offering the Parrot installation, the same dealer that sold it to you? If so, at least they're trying to remedy it... it's not possible to retrofit the factory PTI and the aftermarket "kit" is a bit of waste of time. I have a Parrot in my poxymobile and it's actually pretty good Thumbs Up

You will get less problems with the Parrot - saying this it obviously you want a good deal. I would take the parrot kit but insist on a free car service in a year's time. The LR phone kit is about £1k the Parrot about £300 - enough said. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Hi,

I am taking delivery of the car on the weekend. The dealer still has the car, so they will rectify the situation as the car was advertised as having a phone kit installed. The dealer also said that the retrofit kit is crap, and so was offering a free Parrot installation. My only hesitation is that I like everything to have an integrated look; where would they fit the unit?

Depending on the parrot kit there is a small display unit that is about 3 x1 inches. Yes you will see it but the parrot kits are very good. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

The mic will get installed into the headlining somewhere up near the interior light and the Parrot itself either attached to the console somewhere or attached to the top of the dash. I'd have a chat with them about where the guy will place it... they can't be placed anywhere, but there's some flexibility.

Gents,

Just as a follow up: I came to an agreement with the dealer that, with a £200 contribution from me, they would fit the OE Bluetooth kit.
Very Happy
