RRS Meet Day?

I'm sure you guys get round to doing this, but heard recently not much gets organised for south of the country (where the capital is in case none of you northerners knew).

Just wondering how many members here, with of course Martin's endorsement, would like to arrange a meet somewhere. Give the environmentalists something to talk about......

I saw a TVR meet at the Ace Cafe (where they film Fifth Gear) and it was incredible seeing so much plastic machinery in one place!

So let me know......might be a good idea, now the weather is on the turn,,,,and we could arrange a prize for the dirtiest wife..oops sorry I mean RRS on show!

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Nick take a scan at the Events section of the forums or whizz over to Disco3.co.uk's Events section. RRS and Disco3 owners do mix and there are plenty of events down your way, including a monthly SE Pub meet - that one is great and even I from so far north you almost fall off the top has managed to attend one. There's an offroad meet this coming weekend down in the south too 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

We could always organise a Sunday pub lunch somewhere in the SE if there's demand. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Ace Cafe is a pretty cool place.....but might be a bit far for most, it's on the North Circular Road, near Hanger Lane - although it might be better somewhere a bit more open and country like (a new experience for a Londoner like me!) I'll even stump for the top prize of a tank of fuel for the winner of the event! First person to do a handbrake turn? Maybe not.....

But anyway, just a though....lets see how many come back....2-30 people would be great!! Better perhaps close to the M25....

Isn't that where they're charging £25 a day congestion charge and you can't leave your 4x4 in fear of it being vandalised? Can't see why anybody would want to go there myself Wink 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE
