have i done the right thing?

ok, a bit of back ground here i think, i like cars, but more to the point i liked petrol cars, with big engines and that go fast.
i got shot of my rr sport sc last year, exchanged it for a 911. also bought an r32 for every day use, which i quite like
however! my wife has a tdv6 hse. i have tried to borrow it on mamy occasion, but have been thretend with divorce if i go near it. she finally let me drive over the xmas break. the result being i am trying to get shot of the golf, to get another sport, but, i want the tdv8, it will be the first oiul burner i have ever had. Shocked

AM I DOING THE RIGHT THING? - please say yes...

Yes! Thumbs Up

The TDV8 is a fantastic engine. The only real reason to buy an SC these days is if you MUST have a petrol V8 for the noise. Otherwise, can't see much point... once the TDV8 is chipped, it's pretty much as quick as the SC anyway.

Get down your local LR dealer and test one, think you will be very happy and if after a couple of months you want a bit more there are always exhaust and engine upgrades. Speed Limits! not where I live!

kljw you are doing the right thing. I have one now for almost 3 weeks and it is perfect- it is also my first diesel car before I had only petrol cars BMW´s. First of all it doesn´t sound like diesel at all mainly you hear only the sound of the V8 Very Happy and it is fantastic.

Go for it,

I have replaced my Quattroporte with a TDV8 and apart from the glorious flat plane V8 noise I've not missed the Maserati at all.

JE exhaust and map coming soon.

NO,NO, you are doing wrong!

Go step by step... first divorce (to avoid payback time with your new car) and than buy TDV8.

Trust me... Thumbs Up RRS TDV8 HSE
