2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

And it got one too, under warranty - I would never have known it was missing had it not been for this forum! There will still be quite a few early TDV6's that don't have them as well, because the TSB instruction was for dealers only to fit them if the customer complained how long it took for the car to warm up and before they got warm air out of the system. IIRC a certain Zambesi one that was also missing the FBH on delivery as well. The folks at Gaydon must have wondered why there was so much fuss over in the RRSport corner that day Rolling with laughter 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Open the bonnet and look on your right just behind the headlight, there is an exhaust pointing down, if this is where the smoke is cominig from it's fine.

Seriously, you would think LR would spend another $10 and connect it to the exhaust manifold......

Sport stormer, I sympathise with you.....pay all this money for a car and it looks like a 1960 Bedford. Shame LR, shame. RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
exhaust smoke from under engine

what a chump I feel.

I have had my RRS for a couple of months now and I have noticed smoke / exhaust coming from under the engine over the last couple of weeks. I assumed it was from the engine breather pipe, panicked and I have it booked into Parks in Ayr tomorrow for what I assumed was a major issue.

However, 2 things still worry me. Firstly, the smoke /exhust fumes from under the engine bay comes out intermittently even when the engine is warm.

Secondly, I am averaging 18mpg. This is not what the computer tells me, this is between fill-ups. I am getting 330 miles to a full tank (£90 worth of diesel). The driving is what you would call extra urban - town and a bit of dual cariageway.
I took her to N Wales last week and managed 27mpg sitting at 70 - 90 mph. This I can put up with, but 18mpg when I drive it like an old fart is dissapointing.

Anyone else as bad as this?

Muff
