the whole lack of supply nonsense is done to death on games consoles - I got a Wii for my Sister-in-law (for her kids for xmas) and she called my two days ago in a panic as she needs another controller and there were non to be found (High Street) - she prebooked one at Argos as they said they were due a delivery on the 23rd Dec Rolling Eyes

I told her not to panic and last night she called me back to say Argos had called her and they had received an unexpected delivery yesterday and the controller was now in stock - suprise suprise

They have loads of them available - in fact they have so many that they are available in the trade free with certain poor selling commercial products

I agree with you VA...what is so good? Until the war between HD Disc and blue ray is over, won't by any. But as far as I understand, the PS3 with its blue ray player is the cheapest blue ray player available! Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

They are cheaper on Amazon Germany. Same unit all you have to do is change the plug. Someone on ebay is importing them from Amazon and adding a handsome profit on top.

Not me, but my mate just bought one from the ebay supplier for £230. But even cheaper if you do it yourself Wink TDV6 - gone

They've stopped sending to the UK I tried it, before a D3 chappy got me one. I agree with Kaine this whole we can't supply enough is a load of rubbish, think of the value of the free advertising this shortfall has created. I know someone who paid £100 over the top to get one Rolling Eyes Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate

Blue Ray = High Def 1080p = better picture & audio,

We are lucky here to have had HD programming on cable/sat for a number of years, with nearly all the new DVDs coming out in one or bothj of the formats. We also have a nice 52inch HDTV to hook it up to and so it makes sense that we make use of its capabilities (or at least the kids do as its in my media room - or is that the kids game room (not sure any more Rolling Eyes ). The Blue Ray is the bonus, maybe cheap perhaps but better than $$$$$ for a dedicated player.

now my eyes look like this with all the TV: Shocked Brit across the Pond Wink

Not all the Blue Ray players are send HI-Def Audio through to the TV/Surround sound processor, though your getting the better picture quality your not getting the fell benifit of the better HDMI audio.

Sony's PS3 will be getting a free update to solve this problem,

according to Stuff Magazine

I had the same issue - got a 4th wiimote + 2nd nunchuck on ebay in the end - 4 person tennis is an absolute scream - you MUST have the rubber sheaths fitted Shocked though otherwise personal injury will ensue, trust me! Thumbs Up
