Thats not spilling the beans. More like placing a single bean carefully on a table then walking slowley away from it.........

Big Cry

Can't you try just a wee bit harder, maybe exaggerate, dramatise, revel in your misfortune, shriek tales of woe and paint vivid pictures with carefully chosen words, colouring them in with melifluous prose

Tis a well known fact that there no waterproof seals on LR's D3 and RRS extended air intakes............. that's why they sell them as extended intakes and not snorkels VA had you bought an aftermarket Safari snorkel you would have only got damp inside! Laughing Laughing You have my commiserations, it will never be the same RRS as it was before the dunking, even more excuse to get it thoroughly muddy now! Only one question, was it fresh (ie rain water) or river water, because the implications for a multitude of problems if it were river water are not good as it will have been salty water so will cause all sorts of electrical and corrosion probs later. If fresh water then you don't need be that concerned. Remember I spend every working day fighting the ravages of salty water! Looks like this has not been your luck RRS! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

How long you in country for and what you got planned to entertain yourself (and maybe a few of us) ?

By the way, my green Defender is still for sale at the bargain price of £3,999. There are even some photos in my gallery. So please do tell your mates.
