Am I right in remembering that the fuel filler cap only locks on the second press of the key? Or is that the wife's FL.... Confused Try that Andy anyway, although I'm not convinced that's the right answer. It IS early Wink

On my current car ahemmm, the fuel flap locks after about 8 minutes to allow you to lock the car when you get out at the petrol station but still allow you access to fill up.
Same 'group' as LR, just a thought.

No, first press will do.

I thought the older FL did not have flap/cover? Surprised

Dirt cheap compared to across the pond for sure, but we've got our own sticker shock here, now that a US gallon (3.8 liters) of unleaded fuel seems to be permanently stuck around US$3, and often quite a bit higher than that. It wasn't that long ago - a couple of years, tops - that all Americans were outraged when it went above $2/gallon.. And about 4 years ago you could fill up for about $1.20/gal! We are still cheap, but catching up fast. Very Happy I read somewhere that, were it not for added taxes, gas would actually be quite a bit cheaper in Europe than it is in the US.

A comment from Oil Field Trash Rolling Eyes .... my RRS fuel cap is always open as its part of the natural OilField Lifecycle

Explore - Appraisal - Develop - Produce - Feed the RRS - Deplete the reserves - abandon the field .... and so on... until the next week when I need to find a new Oil field.

So I just work to feed my beast. Laughing
