Worth the wait

I have the Webasto with timer and remote on my D2 - I have to say it has been the bees knees over the last few days.... I'd assume all the issues will be around interfacing with the car electronics to get the heater fan to run and the alarm ultrasonics bypassed rather than just the timer bit to bring the heater on. Hope they get it sorted soon as I'd definitely have the kit for the RRS! Cheers

Simon

Any chance there will be a remote control like on the engine and cabin pre-heater i had when i once owned a 04 Freelander sport.

I had the timer too but never used it as it was easier to press ON when i got up (at 4.30am) and by the time i was leaving, (appx 5am), everything was lovely and warm inside and the engine was up to temp too.
I miss it very much on my RRS.

intelistart has got to be a cheaper eaier way round it and if you dont want a remote, add text to start, wich can also be used to cut the engine if the car was to be stolen Still working
