Just to round this little story off - the tyre-swapping exercise is now all done. I've now got the unusual setup of Contis up front and Wranglers at the back, with another Wrangler on my spare wheel. Maybe I'll be setting a trend for HSEs - who needs different grilles when you can have that tyre combo

All told that little trip to pick up some damn cuddly bears has cost me nearly £300. With that and VA's little hiccup, I expect we'll all be glad to get into next week. What is it they say at the end of Crimewatch? "Good night.... and don't have nightmares"
