The rejection is nothing to do with LR and is dwn to your dealership that you purchased the car from. Usually it takes the form of gives us £X,000 and we give you a new car, unfortunately it isn't like sending a washing machine back and getting a new one.

When I rejected my D3 the situation was that the supplying dealer had to fill out an online form and email back to LR with all relevent info regarding the problems and also what the 'PX' value of my car was. They basicly apply to LR for a refund of the difference in cost to the new one.
LR have a meeting once or twice a week to discuss these cases and then let the dealer know their decisiion from there.

Thanks for the info guys, although my local dealer looks after the car.. it came from LR - very complicated. But LR are sorting it, so I will wait and see.
