I requested a test drive as well as price lists/brochures etc online from landrover, and they came through the post this morning with a FREE half day off road experience. All I need do is phone and arrange booking.

When you book it cowey remember to tell them that you just want to do the off roading or you will have half the time on the road

I have booked Coniston Hall near Skipton for my complimentary LRE, 3rd October was the earliest convenient day. Has anyone been to this venue, if so whats it like?

When I booked it, I asked if I could spend the whole time off-road as I allready own a RRS, and he said I would have to ask the instructor on the day! Any tips ?

2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

Coniston Hall @ Skipton is ok. Its not quite as scenic or varied or extensive as some LRE sites, but there is certainly enough to keep you amused and demonstrate the vehicles abilities.

For my money the best LRE is at Dunkeld, although I realise that is a very long way for anyone in Southern England. Great Hotel and loads to do in the area so a marvellous place for a long weekend....
