You can talk about what you like but when things get a bit repetitive they will be stopped. Please try (as I know you do) and keep offensive words out of your posts. Please refrain from using the whole quote when using the quote button, edit it down to the relevant bit. Avatars should be small so that the layout of the page is not affected. Most of all please try and keep things on topic.

Many thanks RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

if you could define the meaning of " off topic " kaine i would be most gratefull

i might have an rrs , and the information on this site is invaluable for information regarding the landrover

and if i think i can add anything productive in the relevant sections i will

but i also think a bit light entertainment wont go amiss now and again ? or are we all dreary boring sods Shocked I used to be Indecisive ! but now i dont give a f***

OUCH !

Very simple really - if the thread is a joke thread then you can basically do what you like, but if the thread gets too long and dull we will either lock it or delete it - the reasons for doing this is that these long threads are causing problems with the server hence the reason the site crashes. Just because someone asks a question in the off-topic thread is not an excuse to hijack that thread. If there are too many unnecessary 'quotes' a thread will probably be deleted as the mods don't have enough time to edit things.

Remember we are trying to keep a balance here between this site being a useful source of information and a fun place to talk. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

ok thanks for clearing that up va.

can understand the server problems and unnecessary quotes etc

but who exactly determines if its getting dull and boring ? we all have different humour levels (some more than others) Whistle

and surely if the thread was dull then no one would reply?

or it could be that we have some like minded people lurking about ? Shocked

just my thick northern opinion for whats its worth Whistle I used to be Indecisive ! but now i dont give a f***

OUCH !

Sitting on the fence here Whistle if that is the case, why delete the WA thread(drivel)and not something like the jokes thread, or reduce the amount of pages in the jokes thread Confused

I get the feeling that some people on here are being picked on and having their posts moderated when others are allowed to talk drivel without being moderated.

It seems a bit like, " the old school" are ok but thats it Confused
