Difficult to read the letter but is the starting price £37,000? Too similar to the VW and the Porker! - surprise. RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver,Alpaca.

I think when this car rolls out, we are going to see quite a revision on specs and prices by LR to bring it into line, Audi have done well with the Q7, spec wise and price wise the 3.0 TDI will outperform the RRS, however the RRS still looks better, and still seems to be the cooler car right now, lets see how people take to the Q7. Past: Bmw M3 E92 Coupe 57, 335d Coupe 56, Audi RS4 06, RR Sport TD HSE 05,

4.2 litre FSI is over 50k GBP with all the bells and whistles, it is a chelsea tractor, they reckon 85% of them sold will be diesel(UK), and are expecting 15,000 to be sold in USA this year, times online have an article today.

I doubt it will change Ford's approach with Land Rover - this will be direct competition for the X5 / XC90. RRS is an entirely different product.....

Agree mostly with all of the above... interior looks good (as with most Audis) but on the outside I'm not so fussed... M6 lookalike wheels don't work in my opinion. |

I also got the Q7 brochure today. I think it looks like an A6 on stilts. Inside looks good, but I don't need 7 seats. Glad I decided to choose the RRS. MY08 RRS TDV8 HSE, Stornoway Grey, Ebony and Zabrano, sunroof, hybrid tv, premium ICE, rear E diff, privacy glass, side steps, mud flaps, S/Grey mirror covers, Venture shield, tasmods, smoked indicators, Larini sports exhaust, etc, etc. |

I agree with comments on the Q7 interior & that Audi do produce some of the best real world interiors & have has 1st hand experience of this.

Dunno about MDP but I'm always tempted when I see & hear people getting new cars. It's a good job I have at least a modicum of self-restraint otherwise I reckon I'd be broke |
