2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Cairns Blue

RR Sport S/C required in UK for development

Here at Turbochip we are now moving forward with the Supercharged RRS upgrades.

If any forum member in the Oxford area is able to lend a car for a day to us we would be happy to upgrade the car for a substantial discount when we release our finished product.

What exactly is the upgrade?

What does it involve and how might it affect the warranty?

The upgrade will be diagnostic via OBD port.

We estimate 20-25 bhp and 30lbft torque extra without any mechnaical modifications.

The upgrade will be undetectable to LR diagnostic systems and in these circumstances will not affect your warranty unless of course you choose to declare it to LR who could choose to 'restrict' your warranty

TC,

How much is the average SC owner going to notice those 25 new horses and 30lbft of torque in the real world do you think?

The car is already a pretty responsive unit for it's size and weight.

Personally, Iif I were spending money on improving the car I would go for economy improvements than performance ones. Are there any plans for this at all?

The torque improvement will definately improve mpg Smile

That may well be the case IF you drove exactly the same. But I suspect that in an S/C you just use the extra performance whenever you could and bang goes your improvement Wink

and there is no such thing as too much power.
