United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red
Is Dynamic any good ?

When I originally spec'd my RRS, LR wasn't accepting orders for Dynamic Response on TDv6's. As a result my vehicle isn't fitted with that system. Can anyone out there who has a TDv6 with Dynamic fitted (who ideally has also experienced a drive in a standard TDv6 as well) explain the pro's and con's of the system. Obviously the main con is the additional cost, but does it also harden the ride (like it did in the TD5). As for Pro's, does it flatten corners and prevent car sickness etc for child passengers.

The TDV6's are only just coming out of the factory about now with it on. Will let you know when I get mine, though the TC boys should be able to tell you. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

I am happy with the standard handling...but then I have no experience of Dynamic Response...maybe a case of what you don't know doesn't harm you! Rob

I was in a RR v8 Vogue at the weekend (2002) - it was like being in ship again - I had forgotten how good the Dynamic Response is ( added to the better chasis of the RRS )

Dynamic Response is like American express = Never leave home without it Wink

Martin, I guess you might only have driven a RRS with dynamic (am I right in thinking all Supercharged's get Dynamic as standard and always have ?).

I haven't yet found anyone who has actually driven a RRS TDv6 with Dynamic and another TDv6 without Dynamic, ideally back to back to assess the effect on ride and handling (other than dealers and I don't think they necessarily give the "whole story").

Hi Smarticus,

Yes you're right - I have only driven the SC which all have Dynamic response fitted. I did test drive a TDV6 in June, but so long ago I cant remeber how how floaty or not it felt. Rolling Eyes
