That left wing struck the runway. From what it looks like to me he didnt apply enough left yaw and right bank. Usual procedure was followed 99% of the way down. But when he went for the touchdown there wasnt enough right bank to compensate for the yaw. I'm sure the xwind component was considered before but it was within its limits just probably. Have a look on youtube at some xwind landings especially Boeing xwind landing tests. Pretty impressive. Hats off though he didnt do any more damage. Michael Potter Rangey Lover/BMW Driver |

LOL - It's easily done!
