Not surprised, i think Chrysler have been leveraging/or forced to use their Mercedes parents. The Crossfire was based on the end of run SLK chassis, test drove it in the UK about 4 years ago before i moved down to OZ when it first appeared, the dealer was very keen to tell me it was built in Germany and not the US. Pity the interior looked like a 1970's Datsun Sunny, it had British Leyland build quality and its overall performance was pretty uninspiring compared to the WRX i was getting rid of and the 350Z that i test drove later that day. Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Yeah, the 300C is typically plasticky inside too for all it's blingy exterior Rolling Eyes
