United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red
Unregistered TDv8 HST black on black with black

My dealer called to say they had an unregistered TDV8 HST in black with black leather and blacked windows sitting in their showroom and ready to go, just looking for a buyer. Not to everyone's taste I know, but might be just what you want .....

Guess it must be a cancelled order or something.

Anyone interested should call Gareth at Lloyd Landrover in Carlisle. They are excellent people to do business with there. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Very interesting - been doing the rounds of LR dealerships over the last month and without exception each one has had an HST TDV8 in the showroom - sounds as if LR UK have had some stock to clear?? I bet there is a deal to be done if you can stomach the styling......... Currently: Carbon Black 535d
RIP: RRSTDV6 HSE & DISCO3 HSE

Very interesting indeed .... my dealer gave me the impression that this was a very rare vehicle, a factory built HST that was a one off. Some mention of more scheduled to be built in the summer but this one was born very early and so has a certain cache, etc etc.

Sounds to me that someone at Landrover used up precious build slots to speculatively produce a specification that is far far harder to sell than the standard HSE TDv8. Maybe the dealers should decommission the HST extras and return them to their HSE glory.

Either that or offer a job lot of HST's to a football club somewhere .... RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

He would be right. Sold a stornoway grey version yesterday, and it looks like our Java will go today.

Could do with a few more of the TDV8 version. Got to say the Stornoway looks amazing. Thumbs Up

Land Rover built a small number of TDV8 and SC HST's in late December / early January and allocated units to dealers a couple of weeks or so ago. We have sold our TDV8's, although we do still have an available Java SC which someone is due in Saturday to discuss.

If you can get a deal on one then you have done very well indeed Question . I understand that there is a plan for another run over the next few months.

I appreciate that the HST isn't ever forum members 'cup-a-tea' Whistle , however as I said before, we seem to sell every one we are allocated reasonably quickly. Personally I think they look great (as I duck down behind my desk in anticipation of a barrage of abuse!). Confused

I'll keep you posted if I hear any more news.

James Thumbs Up

It's funny that there are so many people here who don't like them, with the definite minority that do.... yet it seems dealers are selling them like hotcakes.

James and Highbridgeflyer - serious question: out of all the RRSs you personally send out the door of your respective dealerships, how many are HSTs and how many are not, in %age terms? Interested to know Very Happy

Given our location, it's a very small percentage. I would imagine James has a higher interest given that he is in London. Freelanders and Discos and RRS TDV6 are our popular versions.

That said I have just done a TDV8 with HST body kit in Cairns Blue and that looks gorgeous. Will post some piccies when I get 5 mins.
