What a car !!

As reported elsewhere on the forum, my TDV8 has spent the day at JE today.

The result is astounding, it absolutely flies. The mid-range is something to behold Twisted Evil and the sound, well, it sounds nothing like a diesel Thumbs Up

If you have a TDV8, it's a must have upgrade IMO.

Hi Paul, interesting post,. I m used to a 645 cab bmw and XKR performance so whilst my tdv8 goes pretty well it would be good to hot it up a bit. What are the insurance implications of getting this done? J Jaguar XKR Convertible

Paul,

If i remember rightly, you had a TDV6? How would you say the TDV8 performs compared to the TDV6? - Appreciate this is a done to death topic, would just be interested in your view?? (Non JE'd by the way - just the standard car) Currently: Carbon Black 535d

Chalk and Cheese comes to mind.
The TDV6 was a lovely car, but the TDV8 takes it to a whole new level. The V8 engine is the engine it deserved from the start. It is just so much more useable.
You also get more toys with the TDV8 Thumbs Up
