RRS Supercharged

Hi all

Thinking of selling my beloved Disco 3 as it is out of warrenty in sept 08 and was thinking of buying a supercharged RRS. You lot who own one of these what mpg do you get and could they be converted to run on gas.

My mate runs a dodge ram with a 5.7 hemmi engine in it on gas as he has his own tank and only pays 27p per litre including duty and vat.

Or do i buy a RRS TDV8 and put up with the price of diesel,

cheers shawn

If mpg will ever play a part in your decision, then get the diesel

I do minimal miles in my s/c so honestly, its pretty marginal for me between the two, but the s/c was £10k cheaper to get in to

JE Engineering has recently done an LPG conversion to their uprated SC. Give them a call or go see them. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Spain 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

Yep, it really is that bad on consumption... to the point where you tippy toe on the fast pedal. I thought I wouldnt be bothered... after all, if you can afford the car you can afford the petrol right? well, even if you can afford it you feel like its takin the Censored a little.

I might swap mine in for the diesel v8 at some point, might not get the sound but I'd lose the pain everytime I put my foot down (which seems to be only when I've overfilled, and you cant see the needle moving.. hehe) Just Picked up: 2006 RRS S/C, java with Ivory.
Garage: 2007 Mini Cooper, 2007 BMW 320d, 2002 Renault Clio (its a workhorse, honest)
