So, car was in all week having a new rear window replaced under warranty, and getting the squeaky pulley fixed
Meant to be collected tuesday, but they didn't get round to it. Eventually they get it wednesday. No call to tell when it was returned on friday, not even a simple courtesy call to say everything done.
20 miles added to the mileage as they had it, as it had to go to paragon to be re-tinted, range down 100 miles, hadn't been cleaned and to top it all off, the engine was still squeaky when i started it up
Phoned them up, said ive had enough and now all they will be doing is the free service for the first cock up, and the discounted warranty for their numerous other cock ups. They did offer to top up the fuel next time im passing but it's more the principal - they should know that a 20 mile warranty drive for a disgruntled owner should maybe end with a trip to a petrol station. Or am i asking too much?
But where do I go now. Can another dealer pick up where they left off? Was I getting more 'warranty' work done than I would have had this not been the dealer I had purchased it from?
Guess the issue is that while there have been lots of problems, its not cost me anything.

Difficult one this bermyandy, some say stick to the supplying dealer, some try others recommended to them. I am guilty of the latter, as I found the supplying dealer to be utterly useless. The trouble is, most others seem to be pretty disappointing too I guess most of them will not be that local to you, Guy Salmon at Thames Ditton have been given good reports by some on here and the D3 site, and is one I have not yet tried, and the site sponsors Charles Hurst at Park Royal also.(but I tried them when it was H.R.Owen, and they weren't up to much TBH, and doubt if the staff there have altered much). RRS TDV8 Buck Blue (no, not now in my dreams). ..........D3 TDclankety clankV6 ............BMW 318i
