I think I should share this one with you.
I have a TDV6 and used to put son ESSO Diesel in it, until really low temperatures pushed me to fuel the beast wit Total Excellium Diesel.

And my car was so happy with this new fuel that now the negine is more responsive than before. I have a lot more pleasure than before !

There have been lots of discussions on the forum in the past about the quality of fuel and difference in performance of the RRS.

A lot of forum members swear by Esso and BP premium fuels. Claiming improved performance and increased MPG returns. I always tried to use premium diesel in my RRS but have to say I didn't really notice any difference in MPG. Probably because I've got a heavy right foot.

The way the cost of fuel in the UK is rocketing at the moment I now go for whatever is the cheapest available. Normally supermarket filling stations. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

I am afraid that superkarket fuels will dirty the engine but thanks for your feedback.

Different markets may have different additives.
In France for example, some areas (maybe coastal) may have less antifreeze in the diesel.

Maybe the mix changes throughout the seasons too. 2022 P440e AB

Only use the premium fuels like Shell's V-power and now get at least 21mpg!  2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.
