Steering wheel getting tacky!

A bit of a strange one........but at 14k miles my 8 month old TDV8 steering wheel seems to be shedding and leaving a tacky surface.

No, I don’t wear a ring, use hand lotion or listen to the Pet Shop Boys, but I suppose the later brings in a whole other list of what is tacky! 'Shocked'

Anybody else got the same problem? .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

TDV8 HSE MY10 with pretty much everything including a vase of daffs on the back shelf, tropical fish collection in the centre console, hamsters in the spare tyre and finally sheep on the passenger seats.....for weight distribution, what else??

Took it into today to my favourite LR stealer and they confirmed that the steering wheel needs replaced. Lots of them do that, so they say.

No problem replacing it.......just as soon as LR get stock, which may be sometime next year, but obviously they don't want to make a rash promise like...within the first 4 months or so.

My, how I laughed. Not.

Its all about taking care of the blame, never the problem.'Neutral' .
