United States 2007 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Java Black
US vs Euro model

I purchased a while ago a new (2007) RRS 4.4 HSE here in US. I might be moving back to Europe (Finland) and would like to know what are the differences between US and Euro models. If I would buy exactly same model with same options in Finland (they are selling 4.4 HSE there as well), would it still be somehow different? Usually US models have a little bit different lights and they might not have fog lights. Rear fog light is mandatory in Finland (I know that RRS has it).

That's a good question.... there are some differences between the US and Euro models but I think that if you're planning to sell the US version and buy the equivalent when you get to Finland then pretty much all your problems are solved. I think generally, you get more "stuff" on the Euro spec models - the only thing I can think that is more widespread in the US than it is in the UK at least, is that in the US they tend to get maintenance packs thrown in where we tend not to.

As Umbertob says in his reply the TDv8 would make more sense over this side and the tax would be less as it's CO2 emissions are lower than the S/C and you cannot get the 4.4V8 over here any more. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yes you are right, I was so shocked I did not check who posted it.

I agree about the TDV8 being the choice '08 RRS TDV8
