2008.5 Model Year ?

Can anyone tell me what the changes are for the 2008.5MY?
I know it has an electric adjustable steering column with memory and improved Bluetooth PTI, which uploads the phones address book to the car. Anything else ?

Paul

Wales 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Java Black

I was at Eastnor Castle recently for a freebie 1/2 day in a TDV8. The Experience guy there told me there was a 4litre version of the TDV8 in the offing for 2008 with 400 hp and nearly 800 ft/lbs of torque. Not sure whether to believe him or not, as he could have been bullsh*tting me, but if it's true, I'm first in line. (Forgive me if this has been discussed elsewhere).
The TDV8 was pretty awesome. I'm used to the 4.4 petrol which is pretty nippy itself (I know it's not a patch on the Supercharged but at least I have some money left over at the end of the month after filling the tank). The power delivery of the TDV8 is very different to the 4.4 petrol, but it feels just as fast. The girlfriends' sunglasses flew off her head into the boot when I accelerated on the tarmac after an offroad stint. G forces!!!!!Magic.
Anyway I digress - if there's a 4litre TDV8 in 2008, it's got to be the one to go for eh?

MY08.5 changes:

- electric steering wheel adjustment
- new fangled PTI
- TDV8 badge on the boot
- option for alcantara seat trim

...and a small price increase, I think.

England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Paul, advice on 2008.5 my is as per the responses above, however the Bluetooth was upgraded on 2008my, so in essence the only difference to the PTI is the fact that the option of a cradle is deleted from 2008.5 (i.e no connector under the cubby box lid).

The increase is £750 over a 2008my. Also very few 2008.5's circulating as stock therefore dealers will probably not be willing to throw any 'extras' in on the later model. I'd guess that most 2008's will be gone by January and the network will be in to 2008.5's.

If you are looking to buy something this side of Christmas then ask for a deal and buy a TDV8 badge through the your dealers parts department! Oh and adjust the steering column manually! Whistle TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

I think that 2008.5 MY's are already in the showrooms because at the beginning of October when I looked at Tdv8's up in Perth there were 2 in the showroom with Alacantra inserts in the seats then, one in a sand/cream colour (not Alpacca) and the other in black/ebony. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

the website doesn't show straight ebony leather as an option any more, does this mean my car will come with the part alcantara seats?
