Hi all,
Does anyone know how to desyphere RRS Vin Numbers?

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

What do you need to know? Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

The last 8 digits give the model year plus build number.

So:

6A123456 is a 2006 model year, vehicle number 123456
7A234567 is a 2007 model year, vehicle number 234567
8A345678 is a... yup 2008 model year, vehicle 345678

etc!

Not sure how the 2008.5 model year is designated - TB can you help? Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

Thanks Bobby, I have to admit I didn't know what all of the letters and digits stood for. Thumbs Up Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

No Bobby, I've never needed to know what all of the digits stand for.

We normally only use the last six digits. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
