2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Winter Tyres

I went shopping for 4 Pirelli Scorpion 255/50ZR19 107 Ice and Snow (for the Sport) and 1x BF Goodrich 265/75R16 Mud Terrain (for the Defender) today. After a fair bit of traipsing around the various tyre dealers in Stirling I ended up at the place I usually buy my tyres and get MOT's done and they came up trumps. All 5 tyres will be delivered tomorrow to their depot and including removal of the old tyres from the rims, balancing and valves they have charged me £800, basically I'm getting one Pirelli supplied, balanced, valved and fitted for free! Only problem is getting 4 wheels and tyres and 5 old tyres into the back of the 90 to get them home, might have to unload all the windsurfing gear from my trailer and use that instead!! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced

Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Are the Pirellis a 20" tyre?

Good prices if they are..when compared to the conti's.
Be very interested to hear how you get on. 2022 P440e AB

The Pirelli's are 19" Paulo, to go on the set of RRSport HSE wheels that I bought from Salmon Fisher recently.
The tyres are 255/50V19 S/Ice with strengthened sidewalls 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

They are supposed to fit, they are genuine Land Rover wheels but I will find out on Friday!
Alicatt seems to have managed to get from Wick to Belgium OK with his 19" GY MTRs on his TDv8 so the clearance cannot be a problem! Also Smarticus appears to be running on the same Pirellis on 19" rims as well 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hopefully the Pirellis, which are road biased tyres, will be nice and quiet Al!
You need to come out for a run in my 90 when I have the Grizzly Claws on m8 - any speed above 45 and it sounds like a light aircraft getting ready to taxi out for take-off and the vibes are like nothing on earth!! That's why I now run it on BFG MTR's instead of the Grizzlies!

Nice rubber band Whistle
I learned to drive in an ex-army Morris comercial 1ton 4x4 with Dunlop track grip 900 x20 now that was noise
But look forward to a run in the 90 Thumbs Up Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
