Pentagon Supaglass??

Has anybody had Pentgon do their window tinting for them? I have been considering getting it done to my Defender90 for a while but also fancy getting it done to the RRS which doesn't have privacy glass on it. Any recommendations? I know they are probably the most expensive folks to get it done but I fancy having both cars done with the Supagalss, not for security but more from a safety point of view, especially on the 90. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Cheers Jay, sounds like it could be a nonstarter on the RRS then. The defender should be easy - big regular shaped flat glasses! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Maybe

Ive asked my guy a few times about it and he Say's "you can have it and I'm more then happy to charge you the extra for it but it's not any better then standard tint" all that it will do is stop the glass from shattering RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

I had it on a previous car which I wrote off in an accident. The result of the pentagon supa glass was that all the side windows were intact....and they wouldn't have been if I hadn't got it fitted.

What they do is to fit Supaglass to the ones they can and the smaller fiddly ones are fitted with a slimmer film to match. They don't put supaglass on the rear heated glass. But its all the same colour tint so no one can see the difference.

Pentagon gets a Thumbs Up from me. Pricey but you pay for what you get. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Got my windows tinted by them. Very nice results but I did not go for the supglasse options.

Wouldn't trust anyone else for my window tinting. Charles Hurst in Park Royal use them! Thumbs Up TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

Jay, Pentagon are one of the original commercial tinters. I'd not want to risk a couple of quid with a company I don't know, when Pentagon have always done my cars (inc a Defender) and I've never had an issue. I'm not 100% sure on Supaglass, however a few weeks ago I was snatch-pulling someone and a stone flicked up from my tyre and unfortunately smashed his window. We had to clear it all out for his drive home (which I understand was very cold), but would guess Supaglass would have held firm till he got home?

Jay. yes need to meet up at some point. Just had another nipper so am rarely allowed out these days! Not 100% sure on the Bimmer, looks the part but driving it you must look like Sharon Osbourne's chauffeur on X Factor!! No mate, I try to stay the right side of the downs!! I get as far as The Elatchi (indian on the roundabout by Whipsnade), then my car automatically turns round!!

Took the off roader to Devil's Pit the weekend before last which is on the A6 out of Dunstable at Barton-Le-Clay. Would be good for a forum meet but far to damaging for every-day drivers (especially Bimmers). Whistle TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.
