| 3 RR's in street during school drop off... who are they??? | |
I think I'm becoming quite sad since my ownership of just over a week... but I'm developing a strange kinship with fellow RRS drivers when I see their cars... questions arise as to "Hey, who are you?" and more importantly "Are you also on this forum???!!" in wild excitement. I eagerly stare at their rear windows searching for the giveaway hallmark of the car sticker... but no-one has them (probably 'cos they've been out of stock).
In particular, during the Chelsea Car Show School Drop-off, amidst the single G-Class Black Monster, single new X-5 4.8i Beast, 2 old X5's, 1 Land Cruiser, 2 E-Classes, 1 S-Class and a few 3-Series', there are 4 RRS's including mine. One geezer parked behind me last week, he also has a Stornoway Grey. Then there's a posh lady driving a black gangster one. And finally, there's a cool dude with a Supercharged Baby who kept reversing last week for no reason... there was no-one to knock down or car to hit so not sure what he was doing... I was waiting to hear the V8 but he took so bloody long just sitting there that I thought "sod this" and drove to work to get there on time.
So what should I do next? I reckon once I get my RRS sticker, maybe they can feel intrigued as to what the secret website message is? Or shall I go up to them and show them my orange umrella and wink at them with a grin!! (I think the posh lady may slap me!) Most of us are reptiles... only the enlightened few become human beings.
