United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Zermatt Silver
retro fitting leather to a base (S) RRS

Hello there. Im one of (it seems) the very few RRS owners on here who only has a base car...boo hoo hoo Surprised).
... Just a phone integration and metallic paint were on the options list Surprised))
Therefore I have black cloth seats on my new S model.
Does anyone know where LR get their leather seat (kits?) from?
I know a guy whos a good car trimmer but wondered if LR made the seats (leather) themselves or if they bought in from a supplier..and if that supplier would sell outside the trade.

Does anyone know if its a really difficult job to get a leather seat kit?

...or is it all best avoided as it makes a big ole mess!!??

Surprised)

cheers for any help your can give in advance

I would get it from a seat trimmer - you get way more choice in the colour/type of leather

Theres a good seat trimmer in Essex, he's just done my kid brothers BMW for £500 and it looks pretty good, he even changed the door panels, I can try and find out for you if you want? If you dont live on the EDGE, you are taking up too much space!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A trimmer makes much more sense I think... Out of interest, why did you not choose leather as an option on your S? Or did you not have the choice? Very Happy
