Clear indicator light options... need to choose between two.

Hi chaps.

Found 2 types on ebay, one is claimed to appear with a "nice sharp shiny silver colour" as opposed to "white":

Powerful UK Ltd

The also do interesting-looking "crystal" lights either clear or smoked.

The other is £10 cheaper from a familiar supplier to people here:

Carstylingstudio

They're to replace the orange lights on my Stornoway Grey mobile. Which pair seems best? Very Happy Most of us are reptiles... only the enlightened few become human beings.

Powerful are the folks who supplied the clear/smoked indicators to a bunch of members. Seem to have very good customer service - there was a batch which allowed water in and all got replaced upon emailing! Thumbs Up

I think the smoked lenses probably look cool against the Artic Frost colour... I reckon they'd appear dull on Stornoway so I'm going to get the clear one's. Not sure which company to buy them from though... Powerful UK seem to have a lot more variety. Most of us are reptiles... only the enlightened few become human beings.

Got them from Powerful UK, quick service, here you can see the smoked one on Stornoway, I think they look good. '08 RRS TDV8

I've just fitted Carstylingstudio smoked Lenses and they are the biz - Look great. I also fitted a set of their colour matched side vents, the paint finish on them was absolutely superb! Mr. Green Another good point was that they were all delivered within 2 days of payment - Great service. Mr. Green Thumbs Up 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Carstyling Studio are E marked and better made than the Powerful ones. Thumbs Up

I know cos I bought both Big Cry

Carstyling are in a light smoke and really go well with the Stornoway.

The Powerful ones are too darkly smoked for Stornoway.

So I say go for Carstyling Studio Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Now that's what I call a thorough comparative review and personal recommendation!!! Thumbs Up

Incidentally, why didn't you pop the vents out and have them painted instead of ordering new one's? Most of us are reptiles... only the enlightened few become human beings.
