the answer = 6" TO ONE GALLON OF DIESEL .......

re pauloamore remarks about emmissions,possibly we have got side tracked on this. I was
talking with reference to the paper talk about £2000 road fund licence for gas guzzlers and 4x4 vehicles. and used the QE2 as a example of other high fuel users,there must be thousands of boat owners with heavy drinking engines which so far have escaped the media attraction. Maybe the govt will bring in a sea or river tax, and have wardens patrolling in high powered dingies, and waterproof tickets !!!!
